Stormwater Issues

The ponds within Celebration are part of a master stormwater management program and are permitted through various governmental agencies, including South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) and Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID).

Things You Can Do To Help:

• Remember: “only rain down the drain.”
• Properly dispose of vehicle fluids and prevent them from dripping on the driveway into the storm drains.
• Make sure sprinkler heads are aimed toward plant material and not the sidewalk, driveway, or road.
• Do not throw trash in any pond, lake, or waterway. Opt for the trash cans or wait to discard trash at home.
